Dos and Don'ts of Outdoor Dating in Colorado
LuvByrd simply loves to offer recommendations to singles in Colorado who are outdoor adventure seekers looking to build relationships with other outdoor enthusiasts! Not only is LuvByrd a dating service that makes it easy for active singles to find each other, but we are also experts at giving dating advice and providing you with ideas for all types of adventure dates.
No matter what type of outdoor excursion you are planning for your next date, LuvByrd recommends reviewing some of these outdoor dating DOs and DON'Ts: Remember that just because you and your date want to do something adventurous on your first outing together, does not necessarily mean that you are at the same skill level. You might be a bit more of a daredevil than your date. DO: Choose an activity that you know you will both like. DON'T: Select an activity that requires extreme skill. You want to have a good time on your date, so don't plan a day that will make one (or both) of you feel nervous or uncomfortable. Everyone gets hungry during an outdoor adventure, so make sure to bring food with you on your date. When you're exerting energy, taking a break for a snack is always recommended. DO: Pack appropriate snacks that will provide you and your date with the energy you need to complete your outdoor adventure. DON'T: Bring a snack for yourself and not for your date. It's perfectly fine to plan a low-key adventure date for your first outdoor adventure together. A fun date will allow you the opportunity to get to know each other better.Photo Credit: Sweet Tea Studios DO: Find an outdoor activity that will allow you and your date to enjoy the outdoors and also relax a bit. DON'T: Plan a first date that requires a multi-day commitment - your date might not be ready for something like that so soon. Make sure to plan ahead and verify that the adventure you want to take is available. For example, if you want to go tubing on Boulder Creek and you need to rent tubes, make sure to reserve the tubes ahead of time. DO: Make reservations and plan ahead for any type of adventure date that requires equipment rental. DON'T: Put yourself in an awkward position by taking your date to an outdoor adventure area that is closed. Listen to what your date tells you about his or her interests. Remember, not all active singles enjoy the same outdoor activities. DO: Attempt to plan an outdoor adventure date that you think would be enjoyable to both of you. DON'T: Plan a date to go skydiving when your date has specifically told you that he/she does not like the idea of jumping out of an airplane. Now that the weather in Colorado has turned warm for the season, LuvByrd knows this is the perfect time of year to plan an outdoor adventure date! We hope that you will plan a fantastic outdoor excursion with your date that will allow you to build a great relationship with the person you meet on LuvByrd.com and if you haven't signed up yet, what are you waiting for!
